POSSIBLE 60th ANNIVERSARY MOUNT EVEREST TREK
The Himalayan Trust UK might trek to Everest basecamp to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest in 1953 with a special trek in 2013.
Perhaps in April an alternative 'Move to Thyangboche' through Nepal from Kathamandu via Namche Bazar but will have to return in time for the gala evening at the Royal Geographical Society on 29th May.
